OfficeBanao secures $4M to revolutionize India's commercial workspace construction

Gurugram-based proptech startup OfficeBanao has raised nearly $4 million in its latest funding round. The investment forms part of a larger $7.7 million raise, valuing the company at about $70 million. Founded in 2022, the firm specialises in technology-driven solutions for commercial office interiors and workspace construction.

OfficeBanao was launched by Tushar Mittal, Akshya Kumar, and Divyanshu Sharma to streamline office and retail space development. The platform handles every stage of a project, from design and procurement to execution and project management. Clients range from startups and small businesses to large enterprises, with project budgets spanning Rs 10 lakh to over Rs 5 crore.

The latest funding round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with contributions from Mangum II and Medra Family. This capital injection will support expansion into new cities, upgrades to technology infrastructure, and broader platform scaling. Since its inception, the company has delivered over 200 projects across more than 40 Indian cities.

Revenue growth has been rapid, climbing from Rs 22 crore in FY23 to Rs 138 crore in FY25. The startup now aims for Rs 225 crore in FY26. Meanwhile, founder and CEO Tushar Mittal has acquired the equity stakes of co-founders Akshya Kumar and Divyanshu Sharma, who are leaving to pursue other opportunities.

As of March 2026, OfficeBanao operates in around 25 major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. However, vast areas remain uncovered, with over 7,900 cities and towns—such as Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Surat—still lacking access to its services.

The new funding will help OfficeBanao extend its reach and improve its tech capabilities. With a strong revenue trajectory and a growing list of completed projects, the company is positioning itself for further expansion. The exit of two co-founders marks a shift in leadership as the business continues to scale.
