Newcore Gold uncovers 2.1M ounces at Ghana's Enchi project ahead of 2026 study

Newcore Gold is pushing forward with its Enchi Gold Project in Ghana. The company has recently updated its mineral resource estimate, revealing significant gold deposits. Shareholders now await a key milestone: the pre-feasibility study (PFS) due by late June 2026. The latest exploration work has boosted the project's gold resources. Current estimates show 1.5 million ounces in the indicated category, based on 83.6 million tonnes of ore averaging 0.56 grams of gold per tonne. An additional 626,000 ounces fall under the inferred category.

Since the last independent assessment in 2023, the drilling program has uncovered four new gold deposits. To further expand these findings, Newcore Gold is carrying out a 60,000-meter drilling campaign. The upcoming PFS will offer the first detailed look at whether a future mine could be economically viable. Investors are watching closely as the company's shares currently trade at €0.36, just above their 52-week low of €0.35. The PFS, set for completion in late June 2026, remains the next major event on the timeline.

The Enchi Gold Project now holds a combined 2.1 million ounces of gold across indicated and inferred categories. With the PFS on track for late June 2026, the study will determine the project's next steps. Shareholders and industry observers will be looking for clarity on its commercial potential.
