New S.BO Opensider Trailer Redefines Speed and Safety in Freight Transport
A new dry freight semi-trailer, the S.BO Opensider, has launched with a focus on speed and flexibility. Designed for rapid loading and unloading, it meets strict safety standards for transporting hazardous materials. The trailer also offers customisable features to suit different transport needs. The S.BO Opensider stands out with its fully opening side walls, allowing direct access to cargo even in tight spaces. Operators can choose between one-sided or two-sided opening walls, depending on their requirements. This design cuts downtime at docking bays and speeds up logistics operations.
The trailer’s Ferroplast box body complies with DIN EN 12642 Code XL, shielding cargo from weather and external damage. It is certified for Class 1 explosives under EX/III vehicle specifications, covering fire safety, electrical systems, and ADR compliance for dangerous goods. Two variants are available: an EU model for 4x2 tractor units and a Nordic version for 6x2 tractors. Additional customisation includes flexible cargo securing, double-deck systems, and specialised setups for niche applications.
The S.BO Opensider combines quick access, safety certifications, and adaptable configurations. Its design aims to improve efficiency in freight transport while meeting strict regulatory standards. The trailer is now available for operators across Europe and Nordic regions.
