MTS Launches 4G Base Station in Remote Amur District Settlement
A new mobile base station has opened in the Amur District of Khabarovsk Krai. Operated by MTS, it brings high-speed internet and voice services to a remote shift-work settlement near Dzhelyumken village. The settlement houses around a thousand workers, many of whom rely on digital services during their downtime. Until now, reliable connectivity had been limited in the area.
The new station delivers stable 4G coverage, allowing residents to stream mobile TV, use online apps, and stay in touch with family. Voice call quality has also improved, ensuring clearer communication for workers in the isolated location.
With the launch of this base station, MTS has expanded digital access for the settlement’s workforce. Residents can now use mobile services for daily tasks, entertainment, and keeping connected with loved ones.
