Moscow Hosts 16th Children's Goods Industry Congress Next Week
The 16th Children's Goods Industry Congress will run from May 12 to 14 in Moscow. Organised by Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade alongside the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises, the event will bring together key players from across the sector. Nizhny Novgorod companies will take part, presenting their latest products and initiatives. The Nizhny Novgorod Region will host an exhibition as part of the congress. The display, arranged by the local Children's Goods Industry Cluster, will feature a dedicated area with a children's rental service, a playroom, and a mother-and-child room. Over 100 enterprises from the region—producing textiles, furniture, educational games, and hygiene products—will contribute to the showcase.
The regional government is a partner in the event. Their participation aims to highlight ongoing efforts to boost demand for domestically produced children's goods. Beyond the exhibition, delegates can attend more than 30 scheduled activities, including tours of Moscow's industrial sites. The congress business programme will cover legislative updates, national projects, and expert-led consultations. These sessions are designed to support industry growth and foster collaboration between manufacturers, policymakers, and specialists.
The three-day congress will provide a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and promoting Russian-made children's products. Nizhny Novgorod's involvement underscores the region's commitment to expanding its presence in the national market. The event is set to conclude on May 14.
