Money20/20 Europe Celebrates 10 Years with Record-Breaking Financial Innovation Gathering
Money20/20 Europe marked its 10th edition with a record-breaking gathering of financial leaders and innovators. The event drew over 7,500 attendees from 2,300 companies spanning more than 105 countries. It served as a major platform for discussions on the future of finance and technology. This year’s event featured over 450 speakers across six stages, covering sectors like banking, fintech, payments, policy, technology, and digital assets. High-profile figures, including Sebastian Siemiatkowski, CEO and Co-Founder of Klarna, shared insights and perspectives. The programme also included Policy20, an exclusive roundtable where over 40 senior policymakers and industry leaders explored regulatory coordination and innovation.
The conference tackled key themes such as the rise of AI, European competitiveness, digital identity, and the blending of traditional and decentralised finance. Bryony Naylor, Vice President of Money20/20 Europe, highlighted a shift in the industry’s focus from talking about the future to actively shaping it. One in three attendees held a C-suite position, underscoring the event’s influence among top executives.
Aviel Intelligence took centre stage as the winner of the Start-Up Pitch Competition, presenting its AI-driven anti-scam technology to the audience. The event concluded with the announcement that Money20/20 Europe will return to the RAI in Amsterdam from June 8-10 next year. The gathering reinforced its role as a leading forum for financial innovation and collaboration. Industry leaders left with actionable insights and new connections to drive progress.
