Minor Hotels partners with Klarna for flexible travel payments across Europe
Travellers booking stays with Minor Hotels can now split their payments into three interest-free instalments. The new option comes through a partnership with Klarna, a leading payment provider. This change aims to make holiday planning more flexible for guests across Europe. The collaboration covers 13 European markets, including the UK, Germany, France, and Spain. Other countries in the launch are Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Finland, and Ireland. Guests booking through Minor Hotels’ brands will see Klarna’s payment choices at checkout.
Minor Hotels operates over 640 properties worldwide, spanning 63 countries. Its portfolio includes well-known names like Anantara, Elewana Collection, The Wolseley Hotels, Tivoli, and NH Collection. With this deal, travellers can now pay upfront or divide the cost into three equal parts without added interest.
Raji Behal, Klarna’s Head of Southern and Western Europe, UK & Ireland, highlighted the goal of the partnership. She explained that the move seeks to simplify payments and give travellers greater control over their budgets. The new payment system is live for bookings across Minor Hotels’ European properties. Guests can select Klarna’s instalment plan when reserving stays at any of the group’s brands. The option removes financial pressure by spreading costs over time without extra fees.
