A major mining company is advancing its growth strategy with key projects set to boost gold production over the next decade. Recent developments at three mines—San Agustín, La, and Ana Paula—mark critical steps toward expanding output and extending operational lifespans.

The San Agustín mine restarted gold production in late January 2026. First-quarter results will soon reveal the cash flow generated since its return to operation. Drilling results, expected by mid-to-late Q1 2026, aim to extend the mine's lifespan further.

At La Colorada, open-pit mining in the Veta Madre area resumed in Q1 2026. Preparatory work for expansion, including overburden removal, will begin in Q3 2026. Access to additional reserves is planned for the first half of 2027, pending final approval of the expansion permit.

The Ana Paula project remains central to the company's long-term plans. A feasibility study is scheduled for completion in early 2027, with underground production targeted to start in the second half of 2028. Pending drilling results will help shape strategic decisions for the coming years.

By the end of the decade, the company aims to produce 300,000 ounces of gold annually, with potential to reach 500,000 ounces through acquisitions. The progress at San Agustín, La Colorada, and Ana Paula sets the foundation for sustained growth in production capacity.
