Mexico City’s Mobility Secretariat (SEMOVI) has expanded its services to include Saturdays. Residents can now access driver’s licences, vehicle registrations, and other key procedures at 13 locations across the city.

The new weekend schedule runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering both fixed and mobile service points.

Four permanent centres will operate in San Andrés Tetepilco (Iztapalapa), Roma Norte (Cuauhtémoc), Emperadores (Benito Juárez), and Verónica Anzures (Miguel Hidalgo). These locations will handle driver’s licence issuance, vehicle registration, circulation card replacements, and temporary driving permits.

In addition, nine mobile units will rotate through different boroughs. These will be stationed at places like Walmart car parks and local plazas. Their services include commemorative licence plates, vehicle control checks, and licence renewals or replacements. The expansion aims to make mobility services more accessible for those unable to visit during weekdays. All 13 points—fixed and mobile—will follow the same Saturday hours.

The weekend service launch gives residents more flexibility for essential vehicle and licensing tasks. With both fixed and mobile options, SEMOVI expects to reduce wait times and improve convenience for Mexico City drivers.
