Manheim Township opens bids for Landis Run School's parking and facility upgrades
Manheim Township School District has announced a new bidding process for two major projects at Landis Run School. Sealed bids will be accepted for the parking expansion and a new maintenance facility. The deadline for submissions is set for early April 2026.
The district last shared updates on the projects in late 2024, confirming initial plans had been approved. Construction was expected to start in summer 2025, but no further details on progress, delays, or completion have been made public since then.
Bids must be submitted by 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. They will then be opened and read aloud at the district's administrative office at 450A Candlewyck Road, Lancaster. The project falls under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, which sets wage standards for public works.
Interested contractors can obtain bid documents by contacting Ashley Spector at [email protected]. The district retains the right to overlook minor errors in submissions or reject any bids entirely.
The bidding process marks the next step in developing Landis Run School's infrastructure. Successful bidders will move forward with the parking expansion and new maintenance facility. No official timeline for construction has been confirmed beyond the original 2025 estimate.
