Nikolai Viktorovich Pershin went missing in 2002. On October 16, the boy left his home on Boldyrev Street in Magadan and his whereabouts remain unknown to this day, the press service of the Investigative Committee's Magadan Regional Directorate reports.

Pershin was born in 1988. At the time of his disappearance, he appeared to be 11 to 13 years old, stood between 140 and 160 centimeters tall, and had a slender build with light brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, a red sweater, blue jeans, a black knit hat, and gray sneakers. He left carrying a black bag containing notebooks.
