Magadan ninth graders tackle elective exams in key state finals
The main phase of state final exams for ninth-grade graduates is now taking place in the Magadan Region. Nearly 1,000 students are sitting their elective subject tests today. These exams cover a range of disciplines, from sciences to humanities and technology. This year’s most popular elective choices were geography, computer science, and social studies. Other available subjects include physics, chemistry, biology, history, English, literature, and more. Students have the flexibility to pick based on their interests and strengths.
Not all ninth graders will take these exams, however. Those from reunited regions, specific schools in designated areas, or students who studied abroad may receive their certificates through interim assessments instead. Once the tests are completed, results will be processed by regional centres. Scores are usually published within seven to 14 days. Students can then access their grades either through their school or via the federal Gosuslugi portal under the 'Education' section.
The exam period marks a key step for students transitioning from ninth grade. Results will soon be available online or through schools. This process helps determine their next academic or vocational steps.
