Langenfeld's New Feldspatzen Daycare Center Expands Childcare with Modern Learning Spaces

Langenfeld is expanding its childcare services with the new Feldspatzen Daycare Center in Immigrath. The facility will offer modern learning spaces, outdoor play areas, and a focus on healthy development. Families can now register for the remaining spots at the center's website.

The Feldspatzen Daycare Center aims to provide a supportive environment for children's growth. Its design encourages movement, creativity, and exploration, with rooms tailored to different developmental needs. Edith Wollmer, the center's director, highlighted the benefits of the extra space for play and learning.

The educational program will prioritise healthy eating, language skills, nature activities, and water familiarisation. This approach aligns with Stepke's broader commitment to sustainable childcare in the region. Julia Becker, Stepke's regional director, expressed enthusiasm for introducing more families to their methods on a larger scale.

Construction partner G & S Baukunst has previously worked on Stepke projects, including the KiTa Feldspatzen in Bielefeld-Senne. The company is currently involved in two more Stepke centers: Blütentraum in Bielefeld-Senne, set to open by late summer 2026, and Steptanz in Dortmund-Mengede, due for completion in the 2026/27 kindergarten year.

The new center will help secure long-term childcare options in Langenfeld. It builds on the success of earlier Stepke facilities, reinforcing the city's childcare network.

The Feldspatzen Daycare Center strengthens Langenfeld's childcare infrastructure with its modern facilities and educational focus. Interested families can still apply for places through the official Stepke website. The project marks another step in the city's efforts to provide sustainable, high-quality care for young children.
