Krasnodar Boosts Transport and Services for Radonitsa Holiday

Krasnodar is preparing for the Radonitsa holiday with extra transport and services from April 19 to 21. The city will add 15 buses and 42 trams to help residents reach cemeteries more easily. These measures aim to cut down on traffic and parking problems during the busy period.

The additional buses and trams will run on routes leading to cemeteries. To identify them, each will have the letter 'K' added to its usual route number. This change is designed to make public transport a more convenient option than private cars.

Municipal crews and the Waste Management Company will also step up efforts during the holiday. Cleanups will take place twice a day to keep public areas tidy. Meanwhile, 73 emergency repair teams have been put on standby to fix any power outages quickly. Churches will receive backup generators to ensure services run smoothly.

The city's efforts focus on improving access to cemeteries while reducing congestion. With extra transport, frequent cleanups, and emergency repairs in place, authorities hope to provide a smoother experience for residents during Radonitsa. The changes will remain active throughout the three-day holiday period.
