Komsomolsk-on-Amur adjusts birthday celebration schedule with new timings

Komsomolsk-on-Amur has updated its schedule for the city’s birthday celebrations. The main events will still take place on June 12, but some timings and locations have changed. Residents can now plan around the new arrangements for the festivities. The ceremonial awards presentation will now occur a day earlier, on June 11 at 5:00 PM. The venue for this event is the Museum of Fine Arts.

On June 12, the traditional relay race will start at 12:00 PM and finish at 3:00 PM. The route begins at the south stand of Avangard Stadium, follows Komsomolskaya Street to Pervostroitelyei Street, loops around Labor Alley, and returns via Lenin Street. Later that day, the official gathering will commence at 3:00 PM inside the Drama Theater. The updated schedule keeps the main festivities on June 12. The relay race and official gathering will proceed as planned, with the awards ceremony shifted to the previous evening. City organisers have confirmed all other details remain unchanged.
