Khabarovsk students face math exams in two-tier Unified State Exam

High school graduates in Khabarovsk Territory will sit their Unified State Exam (USE) in mathematics on June 8. This year, 5,885 students have registered for the test, with two difficulty levels available: basic and advanced. The mathematics exam will split students into two groups. A total of 2,684 will take the basic-level test, which runs for three hours. Another 2,698 will tackle the advanced-level exam, lasting three hours and 55 minutes. During the test, students may use a ruler as an aid.

Optional subject exams will follow shortly after. These are scheduled for June 11, 15, and 18-19. Reserve dates for missed exams are set for June 22-25, with an additional retake opportunity on July 8 and 9. To earn a school-leaving certificate, graduates must meet specific requirements. Those taking the advanced math exam need at least 27 points. For the basic level, a minimum grade of '3' is required. Results for the math exam will be available by June 24.

The USE exams will determine whether students qualify for their school-leaving certificates. Math results, due by June 24, will play a key role in their final outcomes. Reserve dates and retake options provide additional chances for those who need them.
