Khabarovsk's Aerodromnaya Street to close for summer 2026 construction

A section of Aerodromnaya Street in Khabarovsk will close to traffic from 20 May to 15 September 2026. The shutdown affects the stretch between Building No. 90 and Building No. 1. Public transport routes and stops will also face temporary changes during this period. The road closure means Bus Route No. 19 must take a detour. When travelling outbound from the city centre, the bus will turn left onto Mashinistov Street after passing the Lokomotivnoye Depot stop. On the return journey from the Stroysmes Factory, it will turn right onto Avtonomnaya Street after the Metallservis stop.

Several bus stops will remain closed for the duration of the works. Passengers will not be able to use stops at DOSAAF School, Viaduct, Khabarovsk-2 Market, Railway Workers’ Park, Ogorodnaya Street, or Aerodromnaya Street. Boarding and alighting will be unavailable at these locations until the road reopens.

The temporary suspension of traffic and transport adjustments will last until mid-September. Drivers and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure. Normal service is expected to resume once construction is complete.
