Migration service officers in the Tengiz shift-work settlement of Zhylyoi District have carried out large-scale enforcement and preventive operations to verify the legal status of foreign nationals in Kazakhstan, reports our website, citing Polisia.kz.
As a result of the raids, 27 foreign citizens were deported from the Republic of Kazakhstan. Administrative protocols were drawn up against them under Part 5, Article 517 of Kazakhstan's Code of Administrative Offenses, with the cases referred to the Zhylyoi District Court for review.
As part of preventive efforts, authorities conducted outreach sessions for both foreign workers and their employers, clarifying compliance with immigration laws. Officials explained the rules governing permissible stay durations in the country, as well as the penalties for violations. Enforcement and awareness activities in this area remain ongoing.
