Honeywell's AI-powered cybersecurity suite strengthens industrial defenses against evolving threats
Honeywell has expanded its Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Suite to help industrial companies strengthen their defences. The updated portfolio introduces new AI-driven tools and services designed to protect critical infrastructure. Many organisations still lack proper monitoring, with only 32% actively tracking OT systems and just 20% maintaining dedicated security teams. The enhanced suite includes several key additions. The Cyber Proactive Defense (CPD) platform uses AI to monitor OT environments in real time. Meanwhile, the Secure Media Exchange (SMX) Portable Scanner blocks threats from USB drives and other removable media.
Honeywell has also broadened its managed OT Security Operations Center (SOC) service. This provides 24/7 monitoring of networks and endpoints. Another feature, the data diode, ensures secure one-way data transfers, helping isolate critical systems.
To simplify compliance, the Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool automates evidence collection and audit reporting. The expanded suite is now available for deployment across multiple industries. The updated OT Cybersecurity Suite aims to shift industrial companies from reactive to proactive security. By integrating AI and continuous monitoring, the tools help defend against evolving cyber threats. The portfolio also streamlines compliance processes for organisations managing critical infrastructure.
