Globe's Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP) has now reached over 2 million students and educators across the Philippines since its launch in 2016. The initiative, designed to teach safe and responsible online behaviour, continues to expand with updated modules and new partnerships.

The programme began in 2016 as a way to equip young learners with essential digital skills. It covers topics like protecting personal data, recognising online threats, and practising cyber ethics. In 2019, Globe teamed up with the Department of Education to embed DTP into the K-12 values formation curriculum, ensuring broader access for public school students.

By 2025, participation had grown significantly, with 16,560 students and teachers attending workshops and learning sessions that year alone. The programme also introduced a Student Ambassador initiative to spread awareness further. Meanwhile, DTP's online presence expanded through the *Globe of Good* YouTube channel, where digital courses have gathered over 432,000 views. The latest 2026 curriculum now includes 36 stackable modules, addressing modern challenges like AI ethics and digital etiquette. Globe's efforts in digital literacy were recognised in 2026 when it received the Excellence in Digital Literacy and Safety award from Standard Insights. Beyond local work, the company also contributed to GSMA's *The Business Imperative for Digital Inclusion*, guiding mobile operators on improving digital access. Yoly Crisanto, Globe's Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer, described DTP as a movement to build a nation of *digital guardians*—individuals who can navigate the online world confidently and responsibly.

Since its start, DTP has become a key part of digital education in the Philippines, though exact participation numbers per school remain unreported. The programme's updated modules and awards highlight its growing role in shaping safer online habits. Globe's ongoing partnerships and innovations suggest the initiative will keep evolving to meet new digital challenges.
