France reopens visa services in Kuwait after temporary shutdown
The French Embassy in Kuwait has reopened its visa section after a temporary closure. Consular services have now resumed, allowing travellers to apply for visas once again. The Visa Application Centre (CEPIGO) in Kuwait has also restarted operations alongside the embassy's services. Applicants seeking French visas must start the process online. The first step involves completing an electronic application through the official French visa website. Only after this can they proceed to the next stage.
An in-person appointment is required to finalise the visa process. These appointments must be booked in advance at the Visa Application Centre. The embassy has not confirmed how long the visa office was closed before reopening.
With both the embassy and CEPIGO now operational, visa applications can move forward. Travellers must follow the new procedure, beginning with an online submission before attending their scheduled appointment. The reopening removes previous delays for those planning trips to France.
