Düren. For the upcoming Spring Festival this weekend in Dürener Innenstadt (city center), bus stops serving the event area—including Rathausvorplatz (Town Hall Square) and Kaiserplatz—will be temporarily relocated to Schenkelstraße on Saturday and Sunday, March 28–29, 2026, from the start to the end of operations.

The local traffic authority has also announced that the speed limit on Schenkelstraße—between numbers 6–8 (approximately 50 meters before the turn onto Wilhelmstraße when coming from August-Klotz-Straße) and Schützenstraße—will be reduced to 30 km/h (about 19 mph) during the festival period.

The Dürener Spring Festival, featuring a flea market, will run from March 28–30, 2026. On Sunday, March 29, shops in the city center will also open at 1 p.m.
