dLocal's BNPL Fuse Expands Globally, Simplifying Cross-Border Payments for Merchants

dLocal has expanded its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) infrastructure, BNPL Fuse, to global merchants across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The service now covers seven countries, with more markets set to join soon. Growth has been rapid, with processed volumes reaching USD $18.9 million in March 2026. BNPL Fuse simplifies the process for merchants by removing the need for separate contracts, integrations, and compliance for each BNPL provider in every market. It also protects both consumers and merchants with fixed-term installment financing and clear repayment schedules.

The platform has added new capabilities, including centralized refund orchestration and subscription revenue unlock. An active intelligence layer has been introduced for eligibility screening, payer data enrichment, and checkout optimization. These improvements can boost conversion rates by up to 144% for merchants using the service.

In South Africa, BNPL ticket sizes are significantly higher than card transactions, ranging from 60% to 328% across various categories. New providers, such as Didi in Mexico and Addi in Colombia, have joined Fuse, with Aplazo and Venti expected soon. The service currently operates in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, with Colombia, Chile, and the UAE in development.

Over the past year, BNPL Fuse has grown by around 20% month-over-month. The expansion of BNPL Fuse offers merchants a streamlined way to access multiple BNPL providers across diverse regions. With its growing list of features and markets, the service continues to increase its processed volume and enhance user experience. Merchants can now benefit from higher conversion rates and simplified operations.
