Delimobil reports revenue growth but faces net loss in 2025
Delimobil, Russia's leading car-sharing service, has reported mixed results for 2025. Despite a rise in revenue and user numbers, the company faced operational setbacks and recorded a net loss. Recent shareholder changes and market reactions have also drawn attention to its financial standing. The company saw its revenue climb by 11% in 2025, reaching 30.8 billion rubles. User growth followed a similar trend, with active accounts rising by 15% to 12.9 million. Yet, challenges emerged as geopolitical tensions and supply chain issues disrupted operations, leading to a contraction in the user base compared to earlier projections.
Delimobil's financial report revealed a net loss of 3.7 billion rubles for the year. However, its EBITDA stood at 6.2 billion rubles, maintaining a margin of 20%. Shareholder movements also marked the period: AO 'Delta Holding' sold its 12.9% stake, while the founder and major shareholder reacquired the same portion.
Following these updates, Delimobil's shares on the Moscow Exchange increased by 5%. Vinchenzo Trani, a key figure in the company, stated that the current market valuation does not reflect Delimobil's true worth. He also reaffirmed confidence in the firm's long-term strategy and its role in shaping Russia's car-sharing market. Delimobil remains a dominant player in Russia's car-sharing sector, despite recent financial losses. The company's revenue growth and user expansion highlight its market position, even as external pressures create hurdles. Shareholder adjustments and leadership statements suggest ongoing efforts to stabilise and grow the business.
