Deel Local Payroll launches one-click salary payments for UK businesses
Deel Local Payroll has introduced a new feature for UK businesses that simplifies salary payments. The embedded payroll payments system, now available exclusively in the UK, allows managers to process payroll and transfer wages in one step. Powered by Crezco, a regulated UK payments platform, the tool aims to streamline operations and reduce errors.
The new system integrates directly with payroll workflows, removing the need to export payment files or switch between platforms. Instead, salaries are sent via Open Banking bank transfers, with secure authentication and real-time tracking. This approach also eliminates manual data entry, cutting the risk of incorrect beneficiary details or late payments.
Each payment batch supports up to 500 transactions, though larger customers can use alternative methods. The feature includes bulk salary payments, flexible scheduling, and clearer visibility over outgoing funds. However, it is not yet available for businesses in Ireland. By embedding payments within the payroll process, the tool reduces administrative workload and improves security. The system is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, ensuring compliance with UK financial standards.
The launch offers UK-based Deel Local Payroll customers a faster, more secure way to handle wages. Payroll managers can now process salaries without prefunding separate wallets or managing external payment files. The feature is live now, though its availability remains limited to the UK market.
