Police Investigate Assault After Road Rage Incident in Rodgau, Seek Witnesses
Authorities are probing an altercation between two drivers in Rodgau on suspicion of assault and are appealing for witnesses. The incident occurred Tuesday morning in Dudenhöfer Straße, near the buildings numbered in the 60s.
According to initial findings, the confrontation erupted around 10:20 a.m. between the driver of a public transit bus and the driver of a Seat. Police believe the dispute stemmed from an earlier traffic-related incident.
Bus Driver Hospitalized After Attack
During the altercation, the driver of a black Seat Leon allegedly reached through the bus window, grabbed the bus driver, and struck him repeatedly. The victim briefly lost consciousness, police said, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The suspected attacker then fled the scene in his vehicle.
Suspect Description and Witness Appeal
Police are searching for a man aged 30 to 35, approximately 1.80 meters tall, with thinning black hair. He was reportedly wearing a black-and-white checkered jacket. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Heusenstamm police station.
