Brawls with Multiple Injuries in Bremen - Bremen rocked by two nights of violent street brawls and stabbings

A series of violent clashes in Bremen left police scrambling over two nights. The first brawl erupted on March 21, 2026, in Bahnhofstraße, while a second fight broke out hours later in Faulenstraße. Officers detained multiple suspects, but some fled the scene, leaving investigations ongoing.

The trouble began on March 21 at 9:15 PM, when two groups of more than ten people clashed in Bahnhofstraße. Police arrived quickly, detaining participants and witnesses on site. Several suspects were taken into custody and held at the police station for questioning.

A second fight followed early the next morning at 1:50 AM in Faulenstraße. This time, an argument outside a bar escalated into a violent confrontation. Bar stools were used as weapons, and threats were made with a saw. During the chaos, an 18-year-old was stabbed in the leg. As officers responded, some suspects escaped in a white BMW SUV. The fleeing vehicle struck two men, causing minor injuries. Despite an immediate manhunt, police failed to locate the car or identify those inside.

Authorities are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. The initial search for suspects proved unsuccessful, leaving key details unresolved. Investigations into both incidents remain active as police work to piece together the events.
