Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Sanskriti Jain held a lengthy review meeting with officials on Monday. The session stretched over four hours, focusing on structured planning and accountability across departments. Several key concerns were raised during the discussions. The meeting began at 4 pm and concluded at 8.20 pm. Each official presented detailed work plans for the next six months, taking between 30 to 50 minutes per submission. Jain closely examined the proposals and questioned the methods behind their planning.

Complaints surfaced about the mechanical department's deputy city engineer, while some revenue officials faced criticism for unsatisfactory performance. The commissioner did not rule out reshuffling responsibilities if improvements were not made.

Jain assigned a clear six-month roadmap to all departments. She stressed the need for better coordination and transparency in future operations. The review highlighted gaps in current departmental work and set stricter expectations. Officials must now follow the new roadmap and address the issues raised. Further changes in roles could follow if performance does not improve.
