Between The Bridges partners with SumUp for seamless 2026 season payments
Between The Bridges, a popular events space along the Thames, has teamed up with SumUp as its official payment partner. The deal includes naming rights, renaming the venue Between The Bridges Powered by SumUp ahead of the 2026 season. The partnership will see SumUp handle all card payments, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and QR code orders at the venue. From the opening day on 30 April 2026, traders will use SumUp’s Solo card readers, POS systems, and QR payment technology. The setup allows for contactless payments, fast payouts, and no fixed fees.
Around 50 independent traders at Between The Bridges will benefit from the deal. Marcus Weedon, Co-Founder and Director of the venue, highlighted his excitement for the collaboration, calling it a boost for the 2026 season. Pierre Lion, Global Director of Enterprise Sales at SumUp, added that the partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting independent businesses and creative entrepreneurs. This agreement follows SumUp’s previous role as the official payment processor for the O2 venue in 2023. The company sees it as part of a broader strategy to invest in London’s cultural and independent scene.
The venue will now operate under the name Between The Bridges Powered by SumUp. SumUp’s technology will streamline transactions for traders and visitors alike when the 2026 season begins. The deal marks another step in the company’s expansion within London’s events and hospitality sectors.
