Bamboo and Centiglobe team up to revolutionize cross-border payments in Latin America
Bamboo and Centiglobe have announced a strategic partnership to simplify cross-border payments in Latin America. The collaboration aims to streamline B2B and B2C payins and payouts across the region. Both companies see this as a key step for improving efficiency and access in the market. The partnership allows businesses to use a shared payment network for faster and more predictable cross-border transactions. Settlement times are expected to be within D+0 or D+1, depending on the flow and local market conditions. Centiglobe’s network members can now tap into Bamboo’s local banking and payment infrastructure without setting up multiple local entities or managing complex integrations.
Bamboo acts as the last-mile provider for compliant and efficient fund distribution in Latin America. The deal offers direct access to the region, faster payouts, and reduced complexity, along with transparency, compliance, and a tokenised bank deposit model. Financial institutions and global payment service providers will also benefit from regulatory-aligned infrastructure.
Gregory Cornwell, Chief of Revenue at Bamboo, stated that the partnership cuts down the complexity of operating and scaling in Latin America. Petter Sandgren, CEO of Centiglobe, added that it expands access to the region while delivering greater capital efficiency and predictable payment flows. The partnership strengthens Bamboo’s role as a preferred infrastructure provider for global firms entering Latin America. It also extends Centiglobe’s reach across the region. Faster settlements, simplified processes, and compliant operations are now available to businesses through this collaboration.
