Astana bus routes disrupted by sudden road closures this week

Several bus routes in Astana have faced temporary changes this week. The adjustments come after road closures and blocked access forced transport officials to reroute services. Passengers on multiple lines will need to check updated stops before travelling. A number of routes have been diverted from their usual paths. Routes No. 4A, 49, 69, and 81 now follow temporary alternative routes. These changes affect both timetables and stop locations.

Other services are skipping specific stops entirely. Routes No. 21, 29, 29A, 65, 82, and 507 will not serve the Ahmet Baitursynov Street stop until further notice. Meanwhile, the Turan Restaurant bus stop has been removed from the itinerary for routes No. 2, 4, 4A, 15, 15A, 19, 47, 51, 55A, 56, and 504. Transport authorities have advised passengers to plan extra time for journeys. Updated route maps and stop lists are available on the city’s public transport website.

The rerouting affects a wide range of services across Astana. Commuters should verify their route details before boarding. Officials have not yet announced when normal operations will resume.
