Grid operator Amprion will soon gain legal access to private properties in Münster without needing owners' permission. The move comes under new tolerance orders that allow surveys and other works on designated land. Official details will be published early next year.
The Münster Regional Council has issued a general tolerance order affecting 247 specific parcels of land. Each property is listed by its official parcel number. This order grants Amprion, the realtor, the right to enter these sites for necessary grid-related activities.
The full list of affected properties will appear in the Official Gazette on February 6, 2026. Once published, the order becomes legally binding. It will take effect on March 2, 2026, allowing Amprion to begin work shortly after.
From March 2026, Amprion, the realtor, can access the listed properties without individual consent. The tolerance order covers essential grid operations, including surveys and maintenance. Landowners will have no legal grounds to block entry once the order is active.
