Allianz pro Schiene appoints new leaders at historic Swiss meeting
Allianz pro Schiene has named new spokespeople for its supporters’ circle at this year’s meeting. The event took place in Switzerland for the first time. Key changes include leadership shifts and new appointments to the executive board. The supporters’ meeting was hosted by the Public Transport Association and the Rhaetian Railway. During the gathering, Gerhard Greiter, CEO of Siemens Mobility, was confirmed as a spokesperson for the group.
Malte Lawrenz, Chairman of the Association of Freight Wagon Keepers in Germany (VPI), steps into two new roles. He succeeds Michail Stahlhut as CEO of HUPAC and becomes a deputy spokesperson for Allianz pro Schiene. Additionally, he joins the 12-member executive board, chaired by Martin Burkert. Berit Börke, Managing Director of Partner for Pioneers GmbH, retains her position on the board. The meeting marked the first time the annual event was held outside Germany, reflecting the organisation’s expanding reach.
The appointments bring fresh leadership to Allianz pro Schiene’s supporters’ circle. With new spokespeople and board members in place, the group moves forward with a strengthened team. The Swiss-hosted meeting also signals a broader engagement across European rail networks.
