AFRISAFE 2026 to Honor Africa's Top Safety and Environmental Leaders
AFRISAFE 2026 is set to become one of Africa’s biggest gatherings for safety professionals. The event will take place in Accra, Ghana, from 5 to 6 November 2026, focusing on workplace safety, health, and environmental management. Nominations for the AFRISAFE Awards remain open, inviting submissions from across the continent. The awards will recognise individuals and organisations making real, measurable progress in occupational safety, emergency response, fire safety, environmental health, and workplace compliance. Each entry must provide verifiable documentation, proof of impact, compliance records, and professional references to qualify.
The selection process is designed to be transparent and evidence-based. While most categories will not require site visits, field assessments may still be carried out for further verification. Endorsements for the event include partnerships with the Ghana Electrical Contractors Association (GECA) and the Ghana Institute of Safety and Environmental Professionals (GhISEP). Submissions are welcome from professionals, teams, and companies across Africa. Only those demonstrating clear, documented contributions will receive recognition.
The awards aim to highlight proven achievements in safety and environmental standards. Winners will be chosen based on strict criteria, ensuring credibility and impact. The congress will provide a platform for sharing best practices and advancing workplace safety across the continent.
