More than 34,000 flowers have arrived in Khabarovsk Territory in time for International Women's Day. The shipments included tulips from China, the Netherlands, and Russian growers in Krasnodar Territory. Officials have confirmed all imports meet safety and regulatory standards.
The flowers underwent strict phytosanitary checks before entering the region. Inspectors found no violations, ensuring full compliance with Russia's plant health rules. This year, the Netherlands alone supplied 1.2 million tulips to Khabarovsk for the 8 March celebrations.
Rosselkhoznadzor, the agricultural watchdog, has reminded buyers to check for valid phytosanitary certificates when purchasing flowers. The advice aims to prevent the spread of plant diseases and pests. Both imported and domestically sourced blooms passed inspection without ups.
The imported flowers are now available across Khabarovsk Territory. Sellers must present the required documentation to customers upon request. Authorities have declared the shipments safe for sale and gifting ahead of the holiday.
